Life on Jewel Island is blissful - and brutal. Every year the ancient desert floods, turning the dry wasteland into a lush water world. For the herbivores, the flood brings a bounty, but for the lions, the rising waters imprisons and challenges their very survival. As the seasons change, the pendulum swings back in favour of the meat-eaters, until the rains flood through the Delta once again.
