For centuries, sharks have been thought of as dangerous, scary, man-eaters. The cliché exasperated by the little we knew about them. Our knowledge was limited to biology and shark bite statistics. Now, all that has changed. Recently, man and shark have got to know each other better. Biologists, divers, spearfishermen … all spending time in the water with apex predators – watching their behaviour, and so we’ve begun to see them with new eyes.
